We stand with the Black community.

Alongside protesters around the world, our employees grieve the senseless deaths of not only George Floyd, but David McAtee, Tony McDade, Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and countless other Black people who deserve justice. But beliefs held silently are not enough, and we have an obligation to use our platform and resources to support essential anti-racist work aimed at dismantling oppressive structures throughout society.

To that end, we are committing to the following immediate and long-term actions, led by our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Lead, Albrey Brown, and developed in conversation with other Black Airtable employees, with the full support of our executives and every member of the Airtable team:

  1. We are currently investing in long-term support for Black employees experiencing trauma, and loss, as well as coaching non-Black employees on educating themselves and practicing allyship.
  2. We will donate to the Center for Policing Equity and are setting up a separate donation matching program for our employees throughout the month of June.
  3. We will commit to extending our efforts beyond this one-time donation by building sustainable programs to support marginalized communities financially and through in-kind donations of product and employee time.
  4. We are sharing the materials we use to educate ourselves and will continue to maintain and update this list with additional resources to support racial equity.

We stand with the Black community, and recognize that this is only a first step. We will continue to proactively identify ways to deepen our support, both within our industry and society at large. This is just the beginning. As we continue to roll out programs in the future, we will return to these commitments to guide our efforts.
