About the Pro Starter Pack

The 5 seat Pro Starter Pack is a great way to get the full power of Pro at a flat team price.

What is the Pro Starter Pack?

The Pro Starter Pack is an easy way for teams to get their first 5 users started on Airtable’s Pro plan. The Pro Starter Pack is $29 a month on the annual billing plan and $35 a month on the monthly billing plan. Unlike other plans where you pay per individual user, the Pro Starter Pack includes up to 5 users. This means that when you purchase it, you can automatically add up to 4 other teammates without needing to complete additional transactions.

Note: You can only upgrade to the Pro Starter Pack if you have 5 or fewer users in your workspace. If you have 6 or more users, you will not be able to upgrade to the Pro Starter Pack.

What comes with the Pro Starter Pack?

When you buy the Pro Start Pack, your 5 users get access to all Pro plan product features. This includes:

  • Unlimited apps
  • 50,000 records per base
  • 20GB of attachments per base
  • 50,000 automation runs per month
  • Automatic table syncing
  • 1-year revision & snapshot history
  • Personal & locked views
  • Field & table editing permissions
  • Custom branded forms
  • Additional select colors & checkbox styles
  • Additional rating field styles
  • Record coloring
  • Advanced calendar features
  • Restrictable share links

What happens when I add more than 5 users to the Pro Starter Pack?

The Pro Starter Pack includes special pricing for up to 5 seats on Airtable’s Pro plan. With the addition of your 6th teammate, your workspace will be automatically updated to our standard Pro plan, which means you will be charged on a per user basis. The Airtable Pro plan costs $20 per user per month on the annual billing plan and $24 per user per month on the monthly billing plan.

When you add a 6th user to your Pro Starter Plan workspace you will see the change made to your billing account 3 days later. Your next invoice will include a prorated adjustment based on your last invoice and the date of the transition. If you are on the monthly Pro Starter Pack, you will be upgraded to the monthly Pro plan. Likewise, if you are on the annual Pro Starter Pack, you will be upgraded to the annual Pro plan. If you upgrade before your annual commitment is up, the remaining funds in your account will be applied to your new invoice.

What happens if I want to upgrade after paying for the Pro Starter Pack?

Upgrading your workspace from Pro Starter Pack to the standard Pro plan is doable any time. Whether your plan is monthly or annual, any unused funds in your account will be applied to your next invoice.

What happens if I want to return to the Pro Starter Pack?

If you’ve added more than 5 collaborators and your account has been transitioned to the standard Pro plan, you still have the option to return to the Pro Starter Pack. To do so, you must first reduce the number of collaborators to a maximum of 5 users. To learn more about this process, please see our support page changing your paid plan.
